LAM leaves the Black List.

The European Commission has updated the Black List of Airlines banned from flying to the EU, which was published yesterday in the Official Journal of the European Union and entered into force on 18 May.

Mozambican Airlines, listed since 2011, were now withdraw from the black list, and allowing them to fly again to the European Union (EU).

However, according to Commander Paulo Soares, who accompanied this process, although now authorized to do so, "LAM does not intend to fly to Europe in the short term."

"At this point LAM's strategic plan is to make internal consolidation, then a regional consolidation (in Southern Africa), only then will they truly think of flights to Europe or America”, he concluded.
